We are happy to announce the new date for the Wangaratta Marathon & Fun Runs has been set for March, 20 next year.

Make sure to save the date and add us to your calendars!

Regretfully a difficult decision was made to cancel 2021 Wangaratta Marathon and Funrun.

Unfortunately due to the size of the event, the government requirements for a COVID safe event are so prescriptive, that it was not possible with available time, staff and volunteers.

The registration is closed and all entrants were sent an email with the link, where they can choose to get refunded or opt to carry their registration over to the a new date in March 2022. Thank you.

The Wangaratta Marathon and Fun Run is a popular event on the the running calendar established in 2011 by Justin and Sharon Scholz. From 2021, it is being operated by North East Media under the Wangaratta Chronicle banner.
