Statement from Team Mount Beauty and Alpine Cycling Club

"It is with great sadness that Alpine Cycling Club and Team Mt Beauty have made the decision to cancel the VICXS Series rounds 5 and 6. Many factors were considered when making this decision and there is not one sole reason that has caused us to come to this conclusion, instead, there is an overwhelming number of issues from both clubs. Venue restrictions, registration numbers, private facilities (for ACC event), 250+mm of rain...and we know cross and rain go hand in hand!! But it's caused huge areas of the venues to become unusable. And of course how could we forget new covid safe plans...

Alpine Cycling Club and Team Mt Beauty are looking forward to 2022 and we'll be bringing the party after 2 years without racing here! In the meantime keep an eye on the Team Mt Beauty social channels as they have a little something fun up their sleeve."

All participants that have entered will receive a full refund shortly.

DUE TO THE CURRENT SITUATION, ALPINE CYCLING CLUB WILL BE POSTPONING THIS RACE. WE ARE WORKING WITH RELEVANT STAKEHOLDERS TO SELECT A NEW DATE. WE SHOULD HAVE THIS BY EARLY NEXT WEEK.
YOU DO NOT NEED TO SCRATCH, YOUR ENTRY IS VALID FOR THE REVISED DATE, WHEN THE NEW DATE IS RELEASED IF YOU CAN NOT ATTEND YOU WILL HAVE THE OPTION TO SCRATCH.
